Simple, Godly Advice but yet Amazing,
If you suffer from depression always or sometimes you will find this book extremely helpful. You could read the book all the way through and then follow the devotions for the thirty days. Excellent for a small bible study group. C. L. Griffin goes right to the root of problems and uses the word of God as a weapon.Dealing with Depression Daily Devotions

|A Spiritual Journey Out of Depression,
If you are depressed right now while you are reading this review I encourage you to read this book because it will be of great help to you in your recovery. I speak from experience when I say that C.L. Griffin’s method of beating depression really does work. She especially talks about how you should train your mind to think positively. This was something I did to think my way out of depression years ago. C.L. Griffin also makes a good point about how “we have wireless access to God” all the time. Having a good relationship with God can really bring joy into your life. With that said there are many Bible verses in this book which are very encouraging. There is also a discussion about how we should forgive others and especially forgive ourselves. At the end of some of the devotionals there is a little comforting prayer. It is encouraging to know that even without medication most people do recover from a bout of depression. So have hope, read a lot of books on happiness and depression and especially read books about spirituality. Because that is something that is very important if you are trying to become more joyful.
