I turned 35 a couple of hours ago and I was thinking that it has been fifteen years since I was twenty then reality reminded me it also means I am fifteen years from fifty which was not a rather nice thought but what can you do. I gave myself the gift of normalcy for my birthday by going out with a new friend I had recently met. Normally I would wait sometime but I thought it would be good for me to have a mini sort of celebration. Kinda got a weird look when I told her I was turning 35 at midnight but she took it well and wished me a happy birthday which meant a lot to me since it has been a few years where someone has wished me a good greeting on the anniversary of the day I arrived in this world.
A funny thing happened a little over a year ago I was reading a wonderful blog titled Adventures in Time and Space and I found out that we shared the same birthday so do me a favor and go wish her a happy birthday. Take care.
