Considering there has been snow here for what seems like months I am not to sure how I feel about the winter solstice or the official arrival of winter. A quick look on the news shows snow in Las Vegas and Malibu Beach plus some major city centers being pounded by the weather. You hear the term global warming and at least in my brain I think there would be less snow plus the temperatures would be on the warn side and not forty degrees below zero, comic Lewis Black has a line that goes “Where is global warming when you need it?”.
Anyway I was suppose to fly out today to go spend Christmas with my Mom in the southern part of the province but winter storms in Toronto had the flight postponed til tomorrow. Tomorrow is suppose to be a nice day as it will only be thirty degrees below zero (for all you Americans the temperature is minus 32 degrees Celsius or minus 26 degrees Fahrenheit). K enough complaining about the weather, Nice to see you Winter Solstice and you can go away now.
