Well maybe not to your health but it seems to be to mine. I workout normally every second day using a combination of body weigh exercises plus a couple with a Pilate band. So I am pretty much done the workout for the day and all that is left is seated rows with the Pilate band. About the eighth rep I had this feeling that something was not quite right then before I knew that damn band snapped. Half of it smacked about three quarter the way up my forearm and the other side landed between the knuckles on my right hand. My brain took a moment to figure out what happened then took in the red welts that rose rather quickly on my body parts and then part of my brain clued in that the snapping of the band probably should of hurt so then I began to feel the pain. A couple of hours later and a bruise is appearing on my arm like I said exercise is hazardous to your health.

i was having a nice game of tennis the other day. the court was of crushed shells and fine sand. great surface for a not-too-fast ball. a lone stone got in my way and i tripped! – grazed elbow and knee. as you’ve said, exercise is hazardous to health. =)
Yet another good reason not to exercise. Like I needed another. I hope you’re ok and the welts go down soon.
And I forgot… I’ve got an award for you on my B2BInfo blog, because I think a lot of your blog, not that you have to do anything about it one way or another.
And you should see what the other guy looks like! Sorry this happened! Thanks for the warning, I’m running to check my bands now.
